Relaxing with God

Good evening guys, my intent was to keep up daily with my Bible study plan from my Bible app, however, between kids, hubby, house, being at the hospital with my mother, I haven't been as diligent at it, hopefully tomorrow.

Tomorrow being Sunday, the first Sunday of the month, I do believe our pastor at church will be starting a new series and I'll post on that tomorrow sometime. Keep me and my mother in your prayers, she's not a Christian, nor does she believe in prayer or anything else. It's really hard for me to be around her and share my faith and not revert back to the child she kinda raised who didn't know any kind of religion and who tried Wicca, finding out later that, that wasn't what I thought it was.

Since then, my mother in law has been a wonderful mentor to my faith. She's one I can talk to about things I don't understand, ways to deal with prickly people like my mother, who don't want to hear anything about prayer, Jesus, God. Prayers greatly appreciated. Have a great night everyone.

This was the perfect verse at the perfect time, my mother came thru surgery just fine, still sedated, but things are good so far.

Tested faith

Good evening everyone. I really haven't blogged on this blog except for maybe once, when I started it almost three years ago.

I have been going through what I would consider tested faith, exactly what my title is and the name of my blog is faith and feelings. I have had neck surgery in the past almost three months and am still recovering from that, dealing with gut/digestive issues and still fighting. Let me tell you, my faith has been tested. I have had no problem praying and speaking to God about my worries, problems and so on, however, I'm having the problem of once I give it to God, of why I turn around and pick it back up and continue on with it?

Has anybody had that problem? I'll end here for tonight but saying, prayers are needed for me and mine tonight and I'll have everybody else in my prayers tonight. Blessings to a good night's sleep for all.
